Cherry Hill
Neighborhoods
Cherry Hill is a suburb of Philadelphia with a population of almost 71,000. There are two high schools and three middle schools in town, as well as many swim clubs and 51 public parks, most of which have playground equipment, basketball courts, tennis courts, walking paths, and athletic fields for the entire family to enjoy.
In the middle of town, sits family owned and operated Springdale Farms, Cherry Hill's last working farm. It's a great place to visit if you want to pick up local fresh fruits and vegetables, or fresh baked goods including yummy apple cidar donuts and seasonal pies. They also offer a beautiful variety of plantings and gift items throughout the seasons.
Cherry Hill was a 19th-century farm on Route 38, owned by Abraham Browning. The farm property later became the Cherry Hill Inn (now a movie theater complex), as well as an office campus (now a shopping center with big-box retailers), and today's Cherry Hill Towers and Cherry Hill Estates housing developments.
The median household income is $99,996.
